11 survive plane crash in Ketchikan

Fairbanks, Alaska A float plane heading from Prince of Wales Island to Ketchikan crashed earlier today.
According to the Alaska State Troopers, the plane was carrying 11 people when the accident occurred.
The U.S. Coast Guard was able to locate the plane hours after it went down.
Petty Officer Charly Hengen says a helicopter located the wreckage, and was able to hoist occupants to safety.
According to the Coast Guard, all 11 people were rescued.
The pilot reported that some passengers had been injured in the crash, but the severity of those injuries is currently not known.
