Fairbanks Police Officers involved in Monday's fatal shooting identified

The Fairbanks Police Department has identified four of the officers involved in Monday's fatal shooting incident behind the Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center as Officer Lane Bonham, Officer Gerrit Butler, Officer Cory Rupe and Officer Kirt Allen.


Alaska State Troopers have identified two Pogo Mine contractors who were attacked by a black bear near the Mine on Monday.


These exercises will assess Fort Wainwright's ability to implement emergency response plans, policies, and procedures as they pertain to all hazard incidents.
