TOK-This weekend in Tok the end of the dog mushing season will take place in the the 60th Tok Race of Champions.
Fairbanks's won Arleigh Reynold's is the favorite coming in with this year's Fur Rondy and ONAC titles. This will be his last Tok Race as he will retire once he crosses the finish line.
The Tok Race of Champions will be a two-day event that will feature 1-3 dog skijoring for the first time. There will be 6, 8 and open class for dog mushing teams. The purse total for the races is $15,000.
ANCHORAGE-Today the West Valley Wolfpack boys soccer team ended their two game road trip in Anchorage in the Dome with a match against Colony, the 2013 state runner-up. The Knights prevailed however with a 3-1 win as the Wolfpack split their road trip. Colony scored three goals in the last 15 minutes of the game.
Daniel Remington scored the lone goal for West Valley who were up 1-0 with 15 minutes left but the Knights scored with 11 minutes left, eight minutes left and in the final minute.

The location is the Chena River downtown by the Centennial Bridge. If the Chena is deemed unsafe for Saturday's 9:30 am start for the first race then the events will be moved to Birch Hill for a 10:30 start on Saturday morning.
ANCHORAGE-The West Valley Wolfpack boys soccer team are getting some game action early in the spring to get a head start on soccer season. The Wolfpack took on the Wasilla Warriors today at the Dome in Anchorage.
West Valley won their 2014 season opener with a 2-0 shutout victory over the Warriors.
