Panners Game Two NBC World Series

Goldpanners was in the due or die seat on Sunday. After losing their opening game against the the Mustangs.
It was win are go home on Sunday as the Panners battled the bombers for game two at Lawerence–Dumont Stadium in Wichita Kansas.
Tanner Pinkston got the rally going for the Panners with a leadoff double. Mike Wee–Land assisted with a RBI single bringing Fullerton across home plate to score.

Well if you plan on Registering for the Alaska Senior Games. You better hurry this week is the last chance to sgin up for the 12th Annual Alaska International Senior Games.
The games will be held August 8–17 in Fairbanks. There will be over 20 events including: Tennis, Indoor shooting, 10k race,3 ON 3 Basketball along with Ice Hockey and many more sports.

Rain cancels Goldpanners vs Bucs Matchup

After a high scoring win from Sunday nights game against the Oilers in Palmer. The GoldPanners was ready to take on the Anchorage Bucs at Mulkahee Stadium to close out their last regular season game Monday night but that game was canceled due to heavy rain.With the rainout taking place the Panners of the American League also the ABL champions finished their season with a record of 33–9 overall also going 21–8 in ABL games.

Goldpanners sweep Bucs right after All-Star break

ANCHORAGE-The Alaska Goldpanners stayed in Anchorage after the All-Star weekend to take on the Anchorage Bucs in a double header to start their final week of the regular season on Monday night.

Ryan Clark came up big for Alaska scoring the game winning run in the top of the 8th of game one for a 2-1 win. He had two hits and drove in a crucial run in the low scoring affair.

In game two the Panners held on for a 3-2 win in seven innings. Jacob Hayes had two crucial rbis and a run.

UAF releases 2014-2015 swimming schedule

FAIRBANKS-Yesterday UAF swimming head coach Scott Lemley released the 2014-2015 schedule which has a variety of opponents.

Nanook fans can get their first look at the team on Oct. 11 for the Blue Gold Pentathlon at the Patty Center. Their first Intercollegiate meet is at home Oct.17 and 18 against Azusa Pacific.

UAF will be in the Husky Invitational in Federal Way, Washington Dec 5-7. The Nooks start the New Year on the road in Coronado, California for a quad meet against three division three programs: Wisconsin Eau-Claire, Williamette University and Whitworth College.
