Flag Football season

The Flag football season came to an end Saturday and here is how the last week of action played out. West Valley was taking on North Pole and the game was all Wolfpack. They had interceptions from three different players. Quarterback Olivia Shellekens had one of those picks and recorded three touchdowns on the day. Two scoring runs and a TD pass. Wolfpack win 33-0. Lathrop and North Pole met to night after the Patriots were shutout by the Wolfpack and the Malemutes shut them out too. Quarterback Brianna McCarter threw two touchdown passes in the game both to Allyn Lewis.

UAF Volleyball is looking to snap their 12 match losing streak tonight at the Patty Center. The Nanooks are taking on the Montana State University Billings Yellow jackets that are one spot ahead of the Nooks in the GNAC standings.

The Nooks are coming off a loss in three straight sets against UAA who is ranked eleventh in the country for Division II volleyball. The nooks are looking to their outside hitters to make an impact Maddie Davis and Amberly Jeane combined for 14 kills, 2 blocks and 1 ace against UAA.
