North Pole Hosts team from Oregon

Sat, 09/10/2016 - 16:00 -- lmcbride

Last night the North Pole Patriots took on a team that traveled a long way to get here. The Rainier Columbians out of Oregon made the flight to play under the Friday night lights in the 49th state. The Columbians came out firing. Their quarter back completed 14 of 16 passes for 161 yards. His scrambling ability gave the Patriots defense fits. He would escape the pocket, extend plays and raked up one hundred four rushing yards. He scored five total touchdowns. Three in the air and two on the ground. The Patriots defense was repeatedly in the back field, getting a few sacks on the night.
