FAIRBANKS, AK-Get you're running shoes on Interior. The running season is underway. With the Beat Beethoven 5K race and Spring Fling already complete, more local and area running events are on the horizon.
In fact tomorrow is the 33rd annual Tok Trot. The 10K out and back race is along the Alaska Highway and the Tok area. The start and finish is at the Tok Visitors Information Center. Nice thing about that is after the race is over a catered lunch at Kelley's restaurant. The walkers start at noon and the runners at one o' clock.
NORTH POLE, AK-It's always good to see high schoolers progress and make important decisions regarding their promising futures. Today three North Pole athletes signed national letters of intent. Both teams have tightened their defense for the playoffs. The total goals scored in the last two regular season games between the two rivals was 12. In these playoffs 7. The losing team has only been able to score one goal.
