Summer reading program starts for kids

FAIRBANKS- Kids have nearly three months to entertain themselves and the public libraries are offering a fun way to keep them reading. The Noel Wien Public Library, the North Pole Library, and the FNSB Bookmobile have started their summer reading programs, to entice kids to read during the vacation. The free program offers weekly incentives for kids to read and listen to books each week, until the end of July. While reading is the primary goal, the library will also host educational and entertaining events every Tuesday and Thursday.
