Empty car leads to 4 arrests

FAIRBANKS- Alaska State Troopers responded to a rollover on the Mitchell Expressway, Friday morning, but when they arrived, the car was empty. Investigation led troopers to a nearby residence where they arrested 26- year- old Christine Michael for driving under the influence and the passenger Eric Jimmie for violating probation. Both were taken to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.

Troopers also arrested two other people in the house, one had an outstanding warrant, and the other was charged with “violating conditions of release.” Trooper Spokesperson Megan Peters explains that Troopers found the house because Michael “had flagged down a taxi driver and asked to use his phone and called for an ambulance stating that her friend needed assistance because he was in a car wreck.” Troopers also went to see what was going on and it turned out that those were the people in the single vehicle rollover.
