After Governor Sean Parnell stunned lawmakers by removing oil taxes from the state legislatures agenda, lawmakers still have to contend with in-state gas line legislation.
The move came yesterday evening, a week into a month-long special session.
While some lawmakers questioned why the governor would call it quits after about a week of discussion, others were elated that the bill was off the table.
The governor's proposal would have included tax cuts to both new and existing oil field production in the state.
Parnell said he made the move because he felt that the issue would not find its way through the legislature.
