The annual meeting of the Golden Valley Electric Association Cooperative is set for Wednesday evening at the Carlson center.
Registration is from 5:30 to 7pm, and account holders will need to show an ID.
Members attending this year will get a 25-dollar credit in the form of a bill deduction, an LED light bulb, or a donation to the Scenarios Network for Alaska & Arctic Planning renewable energy program or Goodcents.
The business meeting starts at 7pm, with discussion of plans and projects, and member comments.
The CEO of Golden Valley said the main issue will be the high cost of energy and what’s being done to deal with it.
