Empty Bowls help feed empty stomachs

Twenty years ago a grassroots efforts was created to fight hunger – potters working with the community to create handcrafted bowls.

Empty Bowls has been one of the most successful fundraisers the Fairbanks Community Food Bank conducts every year.

Artists from the Fairbanks pottery guild combine their efforts to create a unique variety of bowls of all shapes and sizes.

The bowls are sold, with all of the profits donated to the Food Bank, to aid in their distribution of food to the needy in the Fairbanks area.
