Stephanie Woodard

Anchor, Reporter

Stephanie Woodard was born in raised in the Western New York City of Olean. From early on she studied television working with the Middle and High School Students doing school news, theatre, singing, and dancing.

After graduating from Olean High School in the top ten percent of her class, she was awarded a full scholarship to Jamestown Community College. After this- she decided it was time to see the world, and this decision brought her right to Fairbanks, Alaska where she then attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Shortly after Stephanie met her husband, an Army Infantryman now Blackhawk Pilot, Clint Woodard and they were wed. From there Stephanie has traveled the United States as a mother of two and wife of a dedicated US Soldier.

After longing to return to Fairbanks for years, her wish came true and she was back, in what feels like, “home” to her. Stephanie has worked in producing with an Emmy winning Production Company, taught dance to children at a local studio in Fairbanks and around the US, and now is happy to bring you the news each weeknight as co-anchor of The Fairbanks Evening News!
