Fairbanks police say the death of a 58-year-old woman who was found injured in a homeless camp has been ruled a homicide and a suspect has been arrested.
The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says a magnitude 4.3 quake was recorded Monday night about 18 miles west-southwest of Denali National Park.
The Fairbanks-based center says it has received no reports that the light quake was felt or caused any damage. The quake hit at 8:06 p.m. Alaska time at a depth of 65 miles.
The news of Isaac Juneby's death was a surprise for their family, especially after finding out it was his sister, who was severly beaten and taken to an Anchorage hospital, who he was visiting prior to his tragic death. Now, the family mourns her death this week.
