Current North Pole Air Quality is classified as “Unhealthy” and exceeds the EPA health limit for fine particulate pollution. People with respiratory or heart disease, the elderly and children should avoid prolonged exertion; everyone else should limit prolonged exertion.

With the economy becoming more and more difficult to deal with, the Fairbanks North Star Borough has seen their number of riders increase dramatically with the community bus system.
An entire battalion is getting set to travel down the Richardson Highway on its way to a training exercise.
Some 120 vehicles will be in the move today.
