Since 1967, Fairbanks Resource Agency (FRA) has been providing support to children and adults with developmental disabilities, and to seniors with Alzheimer's, dementia, or disabling conditions. Each year, FRA assists over 700 families in Interior Alaska live a full life in their community, by offering a variety of individualized services which promote independence, ensure safety, and help keep families together. FRA is a 501c3 non- profit organization and a member of the United Way of Tanana Valley.
Senior Services offered:
Care coordination; in-home respite care; chore services; Adult Day Center; caregiver supports, including resources, referrals, counseling and training, lending library.
Additional services for children and adults with developmental disabilities are available through FRA's Family Services, Employment Services, and Residential Services.
