Vandals target, damage Two Rivers School

Alaska State Troopers are asking for assistance from the public in locating suspect (s) who vandalized Two Rivers School, and made off with thousands of dollars in school equipment.

In a news release, Troopers on Sunday received a report from Two Rivers staff stating someone had vandalized the interior and exterior of the school and stole multiple items.

After an investigation, troopers say a group of individuals entered the school Sunday morning and vandalized "multiple class rooms and common areas" before leaving the school with multiple

electronic items.

Those items include 9 IPads and multiple IPod Touch devices.

Damage to the school, according to Troopers, is estimated at approximately $10,000 and items stolen are valued at over $7500.00.

Troopers are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them at 451-5100.
