Unidentified woman dies in bar from cardiac arrest

Fairbanks Police say an unidentified woman died from sudden cardiac arrest in the Arctic Bar last week.

According to Sgt. Bruce Barnett, Police along with Fairbanks Fire Department responded to the bar just before midnight after a call came in reporting a woman was "passed out" in the bathroom.

Upon arrival EMS officials reported the 35-year-old woman had suffered from cardiac arrest.

Assistant Fire Chief Ernie Misewicz says EMS administered CPR and defibrillation.

She was then transported her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
