FAIRBANKS- The Nanook women's team is on the road to end their regular season. Their last two games are at GNAC leader MSUB on Thursday and ffith ranked Seattle Pacific Saturday.
The Nooks are 0-8 against the upper echelon teams but half of those losses were by five points or less.
A win in their last two will be huge for UAF. A 10th win would be their first double digit win tally since 2007-2008 and their most conference wins since that same season.
Even though the ladies aren't GNAC tournament bound and will face a tough challenge to end the year for them this final road trip is about finishing strong and building momentum for the next season.
Last year they won three of their last four including three straight going into the offseason.
