UAF basketball back on the hardwood this week

FAIRBANKS-Both UAF basketball teams will be in action this week. The men will be at home hosting Montana State Billings tomorrow at 7 pm and no. 19 Seattle Pacific on Saturday at the same tip-off time.

The Nanooks are currently in sole possession of third place in the GNAC and 10-0 at the Patty Center. These upcoming games could be low scoring grind out games. Seattle Pacific is the top scoring defense in the GNAC, UAF is second and MSUB is third.

The women's team travels to Saint Martin's then Western Oregon. The eighth  place Nanooks snapped a five game losing streak with a 20 point win over Central and could be in position for the final GNAC tournament spot with two wins this week.

St. Martin's is sixth in the conference and the Nanooks defeated them earlier this year while Western Oregon is ninth in the standings.
