FAIRBANKS-Last evening your Alaska Goldpanners wrapped up their early season non-league schedule with a sweep.

After winning their series opener 10-2 over the Oceanside Waves the Panners swept the San Diego 8-3 and 7-5 in yesterday's double header at Growden Memorial Park.

Tanner Pinkston and Cody Nulph were the dynamic dup in game one both going 3-3 at the dish. They had six of the team's nine hits and five of the Alaska's eight runs. Pinkston scored four runs and Nulph hit three rbis.

In game two another pair lit it up for Alaska. Jacob Hayes went 2-4 with three rbis and scored a run in his 10th straight game. Brandon Caruso had two runs while going 3-4.

The Panners had a four spot in the bottom of the third and closed out defense striking out the Waves with the tying runs on base.

Alaska will take a seven game winning streak into ABL play tomorrow when they host the Anchorage Bucs.
