Troopers still seek Arizona man

Alaska State Troopers are still asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing man.

66-year-old Keith Stompro of Arizona hasn't been seen since December 14th at Pike's Waterfront Lodge in Fairbanks.

According to Troopers, Stompro checked into the Lodge on December 10th and was scheduled to stay only a few days.

Hotel personnel reported him missing after he hadn't been heard from or seen.

Stompro is described as 5-feet-9 inches tall, weighs 165 pounds; he has hazel eyes, and graying brown hair.

Trooper Spokeswoman Beth Ipsen said, “All of his valuables were left in his room. Normally, if someone is going to move on somewhere else, they will take at least some with them. It’s a mystery that is for sure.”

Ipsen also said Troopers are looking to contact anyone who may have had an encounter with Stompro while he was in the State, hoping that could provide “some sort of back story” as to why he was here.

If you have any information on Stompro's whereabouts, Troopers ask you contact them at 451-5100.
