Troopers seize over 100 marijuana plants at a North Pole Residence

Alaska State Troopers and the Statewide Drug Enforcement Unit have seized over 100 marijuana plants at a North Pole Residence.
According to a release, the Fairbanks Patrol attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle in North Pole, when a vehicle pursuit ensued.
The two un-named occupants fled by foot to a residence; Troopers followed the footprints and discovered a marijuana grow at the residence.
A search warrant was issued and the Statewide Drug Enforcement Unit secured the premises and seized 152 marijuana plants, one pound of processed marijuana, and $1,315 in cash.
A suspect has been arrested but not yet identified; Troopers say charges will be filed.
