Troopers investigate reported assault

Alaska State Troopers are investigating a reported assault.

A woman staying at the Fairbanks Monson Motel reported an intruder who was holding a knife to her throat awaked her.

According to Trooper Spokeswoman Megan Peters, the woman had left the door unlocked and was intoxicated.

Troopers say she changed her story of the assault on multiple occasions and there was no evidence found at the scene.

A knife at the scene, owned by the victim, was wiped clean of any fingerprints.

The male was described as a slime, white man, 6 foot tall, light brown hair, blue eyes, and was wearing a dark shirt and jeans.
