Troopers bust possible Fairbanks meth lab

STATEWIDE NARCOTICS AGENTS ARE INVESTIGATING A POSSIBLE METHAMPHETAMINE LABORATORY FOUND INSIDE A SOUTH FAIRBANKS RESIDENCE MONDAY.

AROUND 2.A.M. MONDAY MORNING, AUTHORITIES DESCENDED ON THE RESIDENCE AT 1458 NOBLE STREET.

THEY DESCRIBED THE SUSPECTED LABORATORY AS SMALL, and said IT WAS FOUND OUTSIDE OF THE RESIDENCE.

ACCORDING TO A STATE TROOPER REPORT, AUTHORITIES OBTAINED A SEARCH WARRANT FOR THE PROPERTY AND DISMANTLED THE SUSPECTED LAB WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA POLICE DEPARTMENT AND FAIRBANKS NORTH STAR BOROUGH HAZMAT TEAM.
