Time to Recycle Electronics

FAIRBANKS, Alaska- Today, Interior Alaska Green Star recycled all electronics free of charge at the Alaska Waste Warehouse. In the past, it cost money to recycle electronics like TVs and Laptops, but thanks to Borough's recommendation of sponsorship, the program is funded until next summer. If you couldn't go today, they will be open tomorrow from 10 am to 4 pm at the Alaska Waste Warehouse on 3050 Phillips Field Road, west of Peger Road. The Executive Director of Interior Alaska Greenstar, Kalee Meurlott, says you can expect free recycling the whole year, but now is a good time to come out because the weather is still nice.
