Status hearing set in case involving Miller

A state court judge in Anchorage is scheduled today to hear any unresolved issues in a lawsuit surrounding Joe Miller's employment with the Fairbanks North Star Borough.
Miller last week announced that he had accepted a $5,000 offer of judgment from the borough and former Mayor Jim Whitaker to end a dispute over alleged leaks about his work.
Miller accused the borough of improperly leaking information from his borough personnel file during the heated 2010 U.S. Senate race.
The borough has denied any wrongdoing.
An attorney for the Alaska Dispatch says the online publication, with other news organizations successfully sued for release of Miller's personnel records in 2010, intends to seek attorney fees.
