South Fairbanks duplex fire displaces one family.

Fairbanks City Fire officials are investigating an early morning fire that displaces a family on the city's Southside.

Firefighter's responded to a duplex at 1522 24th Avenue around 3 a.m. Monday morning.

City fire personnel also got mutual aid response from the University of Alaska Fire Department as well.

No injuries were reported and a direct cause of the fire remains unknown according to Fairbanks Assistant Fire Chief Ernie Misewicz.
