FAIRBANKS- The Regulatory Commission of Alaska will conduct a week–long hearing for two companies that want to distribute natural gas in the borough. This morning in Anchorage, the President and CEO of Fairbanks Natural Gas, Dan Britton sat before the commission. He summarized the history of his company and highlighted the infrastructure they've already created to deliver gas. Both, FNG and Interior Alaska Gas Utility want approval from the commission to serve customers across North Pole, Chena Hotsprings Road and the Goldstream Valley. The commission already gave approval to FNG to serve the city of Fairbanks. The hearing will be telecast, this week, at the Legislative Information Office, in Fairbanks, suite 308, from 9 am to 5 pm.
