A popular Senior Games event was on display

FAIRBANKS-today was the final day of Pickleball for the Alaska International Senior Games. The games were at the Big Dipper this afternoon. The men's division had its round robin tournament.

Players came as far away as Nevada. Mario Nejada, who made the journey to the Interior, is a 5.0 ranked player in pickleball. They were players from Seward and Sitka as well.

The game originated in the Seattle are in the 60s and is one of the fastest growing rec sports for seniors.

About 50 people signed up which is the fourth most entries for any event in this year's AISG. The senior games conclude this Sunday.
