Police ask for public's help in locating Mall burglar

Fairbanks Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating an unidentified suspect who broke into the Bentley Mall early yesterday morning.

According to Amber Courtney, Public Information Officer for the City of Fairbanks, the suspect broke into the mall after 1am, wearing a hoodie.

Courtney says the Sunglasses store inside the mall was burglarized and authorities are still calculating the estimated monetary worth of items stolen, she also said there was roughly one thousand dollars worth of damage done to both the mall and the store's glass windows.

Fairbanks Police Department is actively investigating this incident and ask that anyone with information phone them at 450-6500.
