Panners lose second straight

PALMER, AK-After going unbeaten in their first four games of the season the Fairbanks Goldpanners dropped their second game in a row last night. The Mat-Su Miners denied the Panners a bounce back win with a 6-0 shutout victory.

Mat-Su's Trevor Bettencourt threw a no hitter in the first 7 frames and Fairbanks earned just two hits in the game.

The GoldPanners will play the Anchorage Bucs in a non league game tonight in Anchorage again before they finally play at Growden Memorial Park this Sunday night at 6 against the Fairbanks Brewers.
