No lawyer yet for Fairbanks man arrested by armed U.S. Marshals

Proceedings continued today in the case of a Fairbanks man accused of multiple felonies.

31-year-old Carl Benson was arrested in early March by armed U.S. Marshalls on an outstanding felony warrant.

Today Benson appeared in Fairbanks Superior Court in front of Judge McConahy; Benson, who has yet to complete paperwork necessary to secure a lawyer was advised by the Judge that if he didn't fill out the paperwork to attain representation he would be forced to represent himself in the case.

At the time of his arrest Benson was considered to be armed and dangerous.

He is due in court again on April 21st.
