News Update: 4 deceased in Cessna 208 crash near St. Mary's

A plane crash near St. Mary’s has left four deceased and six injured according to Alaska State Troopers.

The deceased were identified as Pilot Terry Hansen, Rose Polty, Richard Polty, and Wyatt Coffee.

The other six passengers, Melanie Coffee, Pauline Johnson, Kylan Johnson, Tonya Lawrence, Garrett Moses, and Shannon Lawrence were accounted for and the extent of their injuries is unknown at this hour.

According to Troopers, the Cessna 208 was travelling from Bethel to St. Mary’s when it went missing.

At approximately 8:30pm Troopers located the wreckage; United State Coast Guard, RCC, and LifeMed Alaska are on scene assessing the patients.
