News Alert: Human body found near the Susitna River

Alaska State Troopers have discovered a human body on the Susitna River.

According to a press release by Troopers the body was badly decomposed and discovered by a hunter in the area on September 11th.

Troopers with Helo 2 responded to the West Bank of the Susitna River yesterday in order to recover the body.

It has been turned over to the State Medical Examiner’s office for positive identification so next of kin may be notified.
