Fairbanks police have been busy with a string of robberies targeting businesses throughout the city.
In the largest, nearly every store in the Shopper's Forum Mall was broken into on Friday morning.
The stores left untouched were a fitness center that was open all night and a liquor store visible from the fitness center.
Fairbanks police Sgt. Kurt Lockwood says that the mall burglar is goal–oriented with a well–thought–out plan.
He didn't say what was stolen.
Since Dec. 21, police have investigated seven burglaries at businesses.
Police haven't publicly identified a suspect, but Lockwood says detectives are working on leads.
