FAIRBANKS, Ak-The Nanooks men's basketball team's jerseys have gold in them. Well that must be for butter because they're on a roll.

Ok that was corny but the Nanooks are something serious being named the GNAC Team of the week. After handling St. Martin's 81-58 on Thursday the Nanooks onslaught continued with an 89-56 win against Western Oregon at the Patty Center on Saturday.

Dominique Brinson, the GNAC Player of the week had a season high 28 points hitting a career high 6 threes on Saturday. He scored 44 points during the Nanooks home sweep.

The Nanooks have won 6 in a row with a 10-4 overall record and a 5-1 second place conference record.
