Nanooks sign two more to cross country team

FAIRBANKS, AK-The Nanook men's cross country team adds to more to their program. Today the UAF runners announced the signing of Tal Norvell and Mitch Burgess.

Norvell hails from Juneau Douglas High School and is a solid long distance runner. Norvell was second in the regional championships his junior year and was a part of the Crimson Bears second place 09 state cross country team. He was also a baseball player for Juneau Douglas as well.

Burgess is a Cali kid, a product of Great Oak High School in Temecula Californina. Burgess is the team captain of his high school club with personal best times in a three mile race and in the 3200 and 1600 meters. All top ten finishes in California area meets.

They join a veteran Nanook team with four seniors and juniors leading the way for next season.
