Nanooks rally to tie Governor's Cup series 1-1, break losing streak

ANCHORAGE- The Nanooks rally from a 4-2 deficit in the third period but leave Anchorage with a tremendous 5-4 win over rival UAA. The win stops a five game losing slide for the Nanooks and ties up the Governor's Cup series at 1-1.

Senior center Cody Kunyk's activity aided in the goal which tied the game with less than three minutes remaining in regulation. Tyler Morley would provide the game winning goal for the Nanooks. UAF ripped off three consecutive goals to complete the come back.
The Nanooks are now 6-8-2 overall and 3-7-0 in conference play.  before scoring three in a row to end their five game losing streak and tie the Governor's Cup series up at 1-1.
