Nanooks lose six straight match

FAIRBANKS-The Nanooks had a chance to force a fifth set but the Western Oregon Wolves a rallied for a four set match (25-18, 25-21, 22-25, 25-21) victory.

Alaska won the third set and was up 21-20 in the fourth but the Wolves got four straight blocks and a Nanook error to win the match.

Keri Knight had a game high 16 kills hitting at 41 percent for the Nanooks. Sam Harthun added 14 kills and Samantha Hesternman had a new career high in digs with 18.

The Nanooks go to St. Martins to take on the Saints tomorrow at 6 p.m. AKDT.
