Nanooks hockey team gets swept by Miami

OXFORD, Oh-The Nanooks have come back down to earth a bit after their road trip in Oxford, Oh ended in a sweep at the hands of the Miami Redhawks. Friday the Redhawks won 4-1 and on Saturday a 6-2 win.

In Saturday's game NIk Yaremchuk tied the game at 2 all but the Redhawks scored three unanswered goals to pull away. Miami gets the season sweep of UAF outscoring the Nanooks 19 to 5. The sweep vaults Miami to number one in the CCHA. UAF drops to sixth in conference and thirteenth in the PairWise Rankings.

The next series is against Ohio State in the Carlson.
