Nanook hockey hits the road for the last time this season.

FAIRBANKS-It's the last road trip of the season for the Nooks who are fighting for the last playoff spot in the WCHA. But this team is already in playoff mode.

They are three series left in the regualr season and the last two are at home. UAF is sixth in the WCHA tied with Bemidji State.

The Nooks have been on a roll winning four of their last five games. This is week they play at Michigan Tech. The Huskies are third in the conference but only four points separate the two teams.

Not only are they close in the standings it's an interesting and close matchup on paper. The Huskies have the second ranked scoring defense in the conference but UAF has the third best scoring offense. They've scored three or more goals in their last four wins.

The series starts this Friday and Saturday in Houghton, Michigan at 3:07 AKDT.
