Nanook hockey gets three forwards to sign on

FAIRBANKS, AK-Today the Nanook hockey team announced three more additions to their 2017 recruiting class. How does the Morley brothers sound?

Tyler's younger brother, Brandon, a forward of the British Columbia Hockey League signed. Brandon played for Team Canada the past two years in the World Junior Challenge and has a gold and silver medal. Chad Gehon and Colton Beck are products of the BCHL.

Joey Davies, a forward of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, led the SJHL in playoff scoring this past season and was fourth in points in the regular season for the Humboldt Broncos.

Josh Erickson signed as well. The tough defensive forward was a team captain for the Sioux City Musketeers in the US Hockey League. John Keeney and Andy Taranto are USHL products.

These three forwards join Marcus Basara and Shawn Hochhausen to make five new forwards in this recruiting class which will be the first four year class for the Nanooks as a member of the WCHA.
