Yesterday, Alaska State Troopers identified individuals involved in Monday's three vehicle accident at Holmes Road and Dennis Road.
Troopers say a 1983 Dodge SUV was being towed by a 2012 Dodge Pickup Truck when the pickup had engine troubles and stopped in the eastbound lane of Holmes Road at the intersection of Dennis Road.
The driver, 31–year old Nathan Ball of North Pole went to the back of his vehicle to check the tow chain and was standing in between the two vehicles.
They say another vehicle, driven by 43–year old Jeffrey Garlough of Fairbanks was traveling eastbound on Holmes road and rear–ended the vehicle being towed.
Ball transported to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital after he sustained a crush injury to his leg from being pinned in between the two vehicles.
