Multiple minor earthquakes reported in central Alaska

Last evening many Interior Residents said they felt the rumblings of an earthquake.
According to the Alaska Earthquakes Information Center, multiple minor earthquakes were reported in the central region of Alaska.
The largest of the quakes was just shy of a magnitude 3 and happened 4 miles North of North Pole at a depth of 9 miles.
Residents say the quakes sounded like a large truck or train and one North Pole resident said it knocked several pictures off the wall.
No damage from the earthquakes was reported.
