Alaska State Troopers are asking for the public's assistance in multiple burglaries.
One burglary occurred at a residence off Ivory Road yesterday.
Troopers were notified that several items were taken from the home, including a snowmachine and two fire arms.
Other activity was also reported in the area the night before, including a reported fuel burglary from a homeowner's vehicle.
The homeowner made contact with the adult black male; he then left the scene in a Suburban, crashed the vehicle and took off on foot.
Troopers were unable to catch the suspect but impounded the vehicle for investigation.
Anyone with information on either case is asked to contact Alaska State Troopers at 451–5100.
