As of this morning most members with Golden Valley Electric Association were back online after yesterday's power outages.
The outages yesterday left an estimated 6 thousand Interior Residents on Chena Hot Springs Road, North Pole, and Fairbanks without power.
The cause of the outage was said to be snow laden tree lines after an accumulation of 4 inches overnight.
According to Cassandra Cerny with GVEA, 7 crews worked through the night to ensure the power was restored and only a hand full of residents are still without it.
GVEA does say that members should be prepared for more outages and blinking lights as there are snow laden trees that could continue to fall on power lines.
