We end tonight with some dog mushing and Allen Moore keeps on winning. Moore, of Two Rivers repeated as Copper Basin 300 champion.
He finished in Glennallen a little after 2 pm on Monday. 43 musher signed up and 27 finished. Moore was the 25th musher to start but was already in 11th place at the Sourdough checkpoint.
The move of the 300 mile race was when more passed then leader Nicolas Petit during the 26 mile run to Tolsona 1 and built a seven minute lead that he would hold to the finish line.
It's the fourth Copper Basin title for the defending Yukon Quest champion. Speaking of the Quest it's just 17 days away.
