The Monroe Rams get key win in hockey

FAIRBANKS, Ak-The Monroe Rams hosting the Hutchison Hawks in a big late season game. It was a tight game early on with both goalies making some big saves but the Hawks would score the first goal of the game by JR Boots that's a great sports name there. The game was 1-0 Hawks but the Rams would rally and win this game 4-1.

Senior Jacob Hebard recorded his second straight hat trick pacing the Rams. Fellow senior Kyle Coiley added 2 assists. Nathaniel Brose was big with 35 saves for Monroe.

The Rams are tied with Houston for the top spot in the Greatland Conference. Monroe has won seven straight and face Houston in their next two games with the Greatland Conference title in the balance.

The Hutchison Hawks finished 8-2 in conference and 14-6 overall with the loss.
