The much anticipated end to the Iditarod has arrived as of last evening.This year's winner crossed the finish line in Nome around 10:39pm last night.

53 year old Mitch Seavey took the 1st place spot this year, marking his second Iditarod victory.

The race was a close one between him and second place winner Aliy Zirkle with around 7 miles separating the two.

Third place was taken this year by Jeff King, and fourth place taken by last years champion and this year's champion's son, Dallas Seavey.
